Can cake be baked in a grill- microwave without convection?

My microwave has only grill and microwave plus their combination cooking features without convection mode. I need to win the challenge of baking exellent (eggless) cake from my rival friend (who is actually an enemy). Please help me that for how much time and how it should be cooked so that I can feel on top of the world??? Dear friends I really need to win.
